I Love, and I will Miss.

global warming, changes climates. the weather so humid or burning hot. air con on whole day. and stay in doors most of the time. tats the bad side.

and the good side of it. u get to see mother nature at its best. seriously. every day. when the sun sets. i can see from my home. around 630-7pm its either u get it or u missed it. everyday the clouds will be different. and the reddish or orangish, or yellowish bright color. and also bluish.

just look at the texture of the clouds, and the color blending.

Gordon would say , SURREPTEST! AHAH!

its so perfect. its like a slight relief when u had a freaking hot and humid weather from the afternoon.

vertical angle. and zoom in. on the way home when i saw it. i rushed back like i need to shit so bad. driving anxiously back home. reached home. and ran up to my room to get the camera.

as always my mom shouted

WADS WRONG WITH U! WHY RUN SO FAST! GO WHERE! RUSH WHERE!?!

10 mis later. zoom in closely. passer by ahaha! they kept starring at me. wondering wad i saw in the sky! haih those ppl only how to drive straight. dunno how to look around, xing xang mother nature abit ma. whole day hate the weather it gave. who to blame. rite. humans ba..

sui or not? layers of it. oh by the way. gua bo edit mother nature photos one. eheheh!. cos nothing to edit one. so sui wanna edit how sui again.

like i said. mother nature at its best.

this one was aruond 545 at Keretapi traffic light. oh.. the car next to mine. when i took my camera out and shoot. he was searching for things or Unidentified Flying Object in the sky. ahahhahahha! so i ngeh ngeh take lo ahhaah while waiting for the green light.

my flight to KL is at 9pm tonight. wont be updating till i come back on monday. well tuesday baru can update. been back here for 3 years already. so i miss KL. who would wanna miss KL rite ahhaah. well i do. no no.. not shopping. but food. and pasar malam hahahaha! yea cheap skate ma hahaah.

dun miss me tat much. just the weekends. u wont feel it. sleep late and wake up late. but who would wanna miss me rite. ahahah! ahtim nia ma. not some premium guy from the gang. just a back up dancer rite? rite?

but, peeps from the Gang. half of u. im gonna miss u. i might not get anything for u ahahah! cos i dun bring much. i bring chun chun for 4 days only.

i also gonna miss the Starbucks Coffee Series at tHe Spring. but tho i cant go. of cos i let my friends go. on behalf lo. they more premium ehhehe… hope u peeps have a good one. get some freebies for me ah ehhehe…

Randomly i met Sarah online at plurk. and saw her pics on her blog, with her is Shiloh a very cute 10 months old baby. So i drop a line on her plurk and blog saying BABY PHOTOSHOOT! so from there la we plan.

so we meet up at Starbucks, tHe Spring. where we think its comfortable for the baby. so Monday afternoon 3pm. erm i waited there since 2pm hahah luckily encik Frank was there. and he hangout with me till they come. Thanks Frank.

station six. im panting for air already. and i need water. luckily i have. there are still 8 stations to go. and i still cant believe tat 10 years ago i ran up. or maybe im fat now.

yea some steps are almost vertical like climbing the mountain, seriously. u need to hold on the the wooden stairs if u lose ur balance. u will fall on ur back.

Penang Nyonya Style Otak Otak.

for reader Jess who wants this Penang Nyonya Style Otak Otak recipe. u asked me to email u. why not i share with others too haha. heres wads written in the recipe book by Plilip Yoong. enjoy. no pics at the moment cos i din bring my camera out with me.

Ingredients:

600g Fish Fillet, Cut into thick slices.
5 eggs (B) , *erm i dunno wad does the B stands for i just copy hehe*
200g Thick coconut milk
8 Pieces Kafir Lime leaf, shredded
2 Pieces turmeric leaf, shredded
10 Pieces kaduk leaf, shredded
150ml water.

wad ever leafs tat are stated there. i have no clue hahha! i hope u know la and can find ok. ehehhe!

Spices: (grounded):

200g shallots, removed skin
5 pips garlic, removed skin
3cm galangal * wadever hell tat means ahahha!*
2 Stalks lemongrass
2 red chillies
10 Dried Chillies, soaked
1/2 table spoon turmeric powder
4 buah keras * what is buah keras* HARD FRUIT?! wtf ahhaha!

Seasoning:

1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon belacan powder
1 tablespoon rice flour
1 tablespoon corn flour

10 pieces (18 X 20 CM) banana leaf, steamed for 5 minutes to soften the leaves
10 Extra kaduk leaves, for lining banana leaf case
* get ur ruler ready* ROFLMAO!

Method:

1 Combine all ingredients, spices, and seasoning. Divide into about 10 portions.
2 Fold steamed banana leaf into a case. Line each banana leaf case with a piece of kaduk leaf. Spoon fish mixture onto it, fold up and secure with bamboo toothpick or staples.
3 Steam at high heat for about 10 minutes or until cooked. Removed, serve with rice or bread.

Preparation 1 hour, Cooking time: 15 minutes, Makes about 10 parcels of otak- otak.

part 2, Station 2, Jesus Receives the Cross.

we love u lord and we bless you, because by your holy cross u have redeemed the world.

getting more and more unfamiliar faces, for those who were behind trying to get to the front. and getting more and more ppl participating.

some are aware of my camera haahah!. cos im like the only one walking around taking pics eheheh.

give way give way.

First and the Second Station not much of climbing. but after the second station and, climbing up stairs begins. and so many ppl , the bright sun light plus humidity, fatique visits fast.

so many ppl squeezing up the stairs. some are slow, some are fast and some talking away. luckily i bring a bottle of water. our body needs lots of water. or else our muscles bolat liaw.

tho we reached the third station, but still going up. cos we need to get those below to come closer to the station so tat they can hear the prayers.

Third Station, Jesus Falls for the First Time.

step by step. quite slippery cos it rained the night before. so be careful lo.

no offense buy many orang gemuk participating oh. they took the challenge. and well done.

so packed. so many ppl one? and so hot!

after prayers. we head for the stairs again. step by step… i ran up to take the shots infront to the back and ran down. to take the shots on the way up.

so tiring. ” THINK OF THE RESULTS HOR”

nah. ehheh.

went to the front again.. panting now.

i got the the stations first because i wanna take pic of it and every single one eheh.. 14 all together.

Fourth Station, Jesus is Met by Hes Mother.

and the bright sunlight getting higher. and brighter. PERFECT WEATHER!.

Pilgrimage at Mt Singai Bau.

2 days before this trip mom asked and told me tat theres a Pilgrimage trip to Mt Singai on Saturday. i said IM ON! the last time i went was 10 years ago. secondary school trip, yes 10 years ago. a decade.

woke up at 6am, get ready, Tings Godmother will come and pick us up. i was so excited. 10 years wei when i was age 15 around there la eheh.

had breakfast. and head there at 830 am. Mt Singai. from far.

Its the road on the way to Bau. roads are good. unlike 10years ago. bumpy ride all the way. now roads are so smooth already. and reach there so fast.

side view. i dun like to take scenery shots in kch cos of the cable wires. ALL THE WAY!.

when we got there. at the entrance.

ini baru kampung. mountain! LOOK AT ALL THE TALL TREES!… below is durian tree. so high up.

The small bridge, getting nearer to the mouth of the mountain.

the first thing i did when i got there. is to look up. yes. looking for tree barks or dead bark. a good and perfect weather. and to take good shots like this pic below. around 9am

and also a very very tall Papaya tree. and the sky is so the very blue.

Pilgrims are earged to bring a bag of sand or a box of tiles or a piece of 2×4 wood, or a piece of wooden ceiling for the project building a house at the Pilgrimage centre, meaning another centre is to build there for ppl who wants to stay over night.

Bro took a box of tiles. mom took 2 plastic bag of tiles, 2 in each. i took my camera bag, and a bottle of drink behind and my camera infront, so i din take any of those. cos i cant take it while shooting.

we have a choice. if u cant take its ok. theres 300 over pilgrims there ok.

and the Journey begins.

Pilgrims from all ages are welcome. for as long as u dun kao peh half way up then its ok. here we have the youngest pilgrim, a 5 month old baby Shirley, anak kepada GodDaughter Mak aku ahhaah!.

BAGSSSSSSSSSSsss of sand. some mofo went to say. NEXT TRIP LA I WILL BRING A BAG OF SAND UP. PROMISE I WILL.. wtf.. u dun wanna tak u say la. dun say next time. havent reach 1st station already talk like tat.

my bro took for me . cos he knew tat im gonna take alot of pics alot of angles up and down.

he was taking some shots at this tree. hes name is Lawrence. we talked about photography while we were there. and so i bagi dia namecard aku. and he said he will call me where theres another trip to another mountain place. and Mt Santubong is one of them. so got kangtao for the rest of the gang to be happy with me too! without them, any trip planned wont work ehheh.

so many ppl ok. i rushed to the front to get this shots all the time. tats why im so tired. go up and down back to front to back. and go up again. effort ma.

Tih Kam Theu Soup.

Pot of misery ehhehe… when i saw this on the table i knew its something different and unexpected in it. so i asked mom. She said her 2nd Eldest sister made it for us, the Tih Kam Theu soup. and went WAD SOUP?! she said, HAI YA, YOU KNOW HOW TO DRINK WAN LA!

errr… really meh?!

Mom told me tat this soup is good when u got headaches. it will ease the pain. and i went oh really, wait la, wait till when i have a headache then i will try. AHAH!

jeng jeng jeng… the aroma smells so familiar. hmmm…

half opened. hmmm… the smell gets stronger…

TADAH!!! i still kenot remember the last time i had this. so Ting is being Ting. she like to force me to drink or eat stuff. kuansi tu ho lo. so then she gets a bowl and pour some for me.

first sip. OH THIS SOUP HA! OKOK! WADS SOUP AGAIN?! oh TIH KAM THEU, and i forgotten wad is it in Hokkien, Go ask ur mom ur dad or any of ur hakka friend, THEY KNOWS KUA ! haha!.

but the thing is, when mom cook this its usually 45% sweet and 55% bitter. yes! BITTER, B I T T E R taste. Anna said for as long as it taste bitter she doesnt like it.

this time my aunt cooked this, and it actually tasted 90% bitter and 10% sweet. its so bitter my expression went crooked HAH! seriously! no pics for tat. cos Ting was laughing away. sigh. still. TAT 10% of sweetness is the end of the soup, meaning, when u put in ur mouth its super bitter and when u swallowed it, the end of it is sweet.

mom say NO BITTERNESS AT ALL!… sot meh… my whole jaw almost came off HAHA!. but i love it… the i dunno wad sayur is tat. i din eat. just the kaki ayam and soup nia i eat. BRO DOESNT EVEN WANNA TRY A SIP OF IT AHHA!. UNTUNG LA AKU!.

wanna try ma? eheheh! but sorry. finish already. maybe next time eheh.

Moms 55th Bday.

today im gonna make u hungry, not only hungry, im gonna make u miss home so much u will call ur parents now ahahah!. those of u who are over seas or outstation for quite sometime. cos home cook and moms cooking are the best. Last Saturday afternoon mom called asked am i going home for dinner. i said yes definitely , and she said shes cooking tat nite.

so i went back at 5 something. the dining table at the living room is emtpty. eih… something is not right. if someone cleared the table outside means a family gathering. and i was right. but no one told me anything yet.

i head to the kitchen, saw mom and moms second sister was there cooking. it havent hit me yet. while looking around the kitchen i saw many things being prepared and so i asked.

wads with tonight? and mom say ” oh, its just steamboat” small gathering.

with who?, i asked… with some of her siblings

why suddenly one? , i asked again, she replied, for fun. hmmm…

and so i went up to my room and take my camera and snapping all the way.

Beef Curry. mom prepared this with the new Buffalo Cooker.

Fried Prawns. its so FRESH! makes me feel like wanna scream

BALIK KAMPUNG! when we were young, we used to balik kampung every weekend, every friday or saturday and comes home on Sunday evening. or sometimes spent the whole week there… SEAFOOD are fresh. and bats and squirrels , monitor lizards, deer and etc. yea those were the days!.

and my favourite FRIED OLD COCONUT, can u believe it, no sugar added and it tasted so sweet, my aunt said tat the sweetness are from the chaota.

The Family gathering dinner. 2nd Aunty, 7th Aunt and my God Father, my mom is 6th, erm 7th Uncle Sam and Wife ehehhe… my bro and I.

one of the reason mymom wanna do steamboat is to try this electric stove from Korea i think. i wonder how much it cost.

when u touch. its not hot. only the pot is hot. and tat is not my fingers. those are my brother’s. so macam girl also rite ahahahah!.bigger in size only ahhaha.

and the surprise birthday cake. for Mom. it surprised me too cos moms bday is like wad 1week plus away. and so many days to go. 7th Aunt bought the cake from my uncles Bakery, UNCLE CAT BAKERY Stutong.

Chendol , Sinchao , bought those and the coconut milk sqeeze from the kitchen ahhahaha… i dun eat cos got coconut milk i dun like…

Birthday Girl and Birthday Cake ehheh my momma is 55 years old this year.

i was so bloated tat nite. oh i stayed home the rest of the night. no plans for me, no one wanna bring me out nor ajak me, so i stayed home. i almost go lo yao by myself ahaha but was too lazy to move. so i watched badminton till late and sleep. the food was awesome! like no other.

Jase's Tea Room

Last Month. I planned to hang out with the Gang here at Jase’s Tea Room. erm those who said that they will try to make it, or maybe they can make it, or see how, or later. all din show up. oh well ppl have plans too.

Jase’s Tea Room is located at Premier 101. Our first time there too.

The Interior. looked like some furniture shop ahha.

I ordered Jasmine White Monkey. sound cool so i ordered. RM9 per pot. some say quite expensive. oh well.

there is a filter for the tea. so no tea leaves in the tea.

Ting ordered the Chocolate Cake. taste good.

many different kind of tea leafs for us to try. erm smell it if u dunno or never tried before. cos sometimes we dunno wad we ordered and we wanna know the aroma of the tea tat u like. good thing also by the way. so u wont regret wad u ordered.
