when i was in f1, i joined my school band, yea for nerds, an ass like me joining the school band was a joke for those ppl, but then not for the sake of just joining, i had a dream, a dream of becoming an artist, music artist. That time my idol was Kenny G, hehehe! i wanted to learn the saxophone. but tat time it cost a bomb.

learning music, for me, is a good thing, why? it makes both right and left side of our brain works. really.

but then i couldn’t afford it..so i down grade to a clarinet, woodwind instruments, and so i went into IMH to study music. it was hard for me. well nothing is easy rite. back then i was a smoker. the stamina for a smoker to play music was less.

and the worst thing, i have no frens there at the centre and mostly kids younger than me. rich kids too. and im not at all part of their rich bullshit.

my plan was to concerntrate on my class and THEORY TAT I HATED SO MUCH!.

the lower grade brand Jupiter. i used this instrument for about 4 years. non of my frens now ever seen me play i think ahhaah… even during school days. exam was hard, need tons of practice.

starting from Grade 1 till Grade 4 i have no problems at all. exam wasn’t that hard, just the hmmm…i forgot tat word for the chords tat i need to practice like mad… not part of the pieces need to play. ahhh… i forgot.

exam always at Merdeka Palace, with the super cold room. even shiver when playing.

saliva was in the instrument tat i need to clean all the time and also the cork. need no maintainance for the first 4 years. not bad for a jupiter. until when i learn and practice grade 5 pieces. my clarinet tends to give up.. cant even play the higher notes, teachers and the ppl there insist me to get a better higher grade clarinet. easier for me better for me.

during my 4th year, i quit IMH, cos my favourite teacher left. so i left too. went to her place which is very near my house, like 10mins walking distance. yea i always walk. cos if i still go to IMH i need to take a bus.

i also quit the school band, cos im sick of it there. ahahah!

so continued my clarinet class with my teacher at her place. i tried so hard to play and practice but i dun seem to get there.

with lack of patience and my parents din want to get a better one for me. i was so hopeless and helpless. my dreams are fading. and fading so fast. and eventually i stopped. i need to continue my studies too. in kl.

i should bring it along with me when i study in kl. to release my stress. but for wad ever reasons i have. i din. but I SHOULD HAVE!!!! argh!. but then i dun have a piano to practice my pieces with me.

and now, January 2009, staring at it everyday, standing there, wondering when can i play my clarinet again. my books are all gone. i couldn’t find it. my teacher moved. where should i go learn again.

i need to fix it. or rather buy a better one. i dunno. to fix it will cost RM300-RM500, its not worth it.  or should i start anew with a sax.

its not too young to learn music. never was.

the mouth piece. is where i blow my lungs out ahahha! breathing and controlling the air till i reached the next pause for breathing again.

i miss those times i used to play or practice with the piano. i found some frens or i met some frens who play good piano. when listening to them play. i start to miss playing my clarinet again. how i wish i could stand beside them playing the same song.

to all who always laughed at my tiny thumb. it fits well in that support. and my thumb wont get tired at all.

or hey should i learn the piano instead, tho i cant afford one, nor my mom would get me one. where can i practice. i heard tat we dont need to go for exams like before, we can just learn to play with special chords NO MORE THEORY EXAMS!!!

an instrument, that gave me hope in life. an instrument tat showed me the love for music, an instrument tat gave me peace and courage, its been so many years i tat i din play. i have lost my touch. but i never lost the feeling and the love for music.

and sometimes i wonder, when can i play again. and when will i start again.

i need to find time.
