JJ WESTERN CUISINE, DAMAI, KOTA KINABALU, SABAH.

Crystal promised to bring us there to have her favorite Western Cuisine place. cheap and affordable.

and yea before her Youth Ministry Practice, we headed there for our dinner around 7pm.

When i started shooting they thought i was a reporter, and obviously they know im not a local there.

wahhaha..

Looking at the lamb shoulder i asked, wow uncle so big piece of meat u use.

he answered: if u we dun do like this customer complain, if we do expensive they also complain

so we make the portion big and affordable.

on the pan is mine and Crystal’s Lambchop also Cynthia’s Mix Grill, first thing that came to my mind.

HOW TO FINISH?!

taukeh: we use our own special marinade and spices. yes it taste real good.

here’s my Lamb CHop, mushroom sauce. DELICIOUS!!!

owh. i so wanna go back and eat..

This is Cynthia’s mix grill, Lamb, Chicken and Beef. she was bloated after tat.

After Crystal finished with her Youth Meeting, we went to Frenz Cafe with her mom.

a very nice and cozy place to hang out with yer friends.

when we was there, it was packed, so packed that we are about to leave. but i saw an empty table at the side,

and i said, EH TAT TABLE CAN USE ONE OR FOR DISPLAY ONLY?

and yes, right away got place to sit. wahahahha. ASSHOLE!

Peach Cheese Cake. nice.

Blueberry cheese Cake. Delicious. their bubble milk tea also very nice.

and especially their mushroom soup. SEDAP SKALEIIII!!!!

sorry about this super late post. its almost a year since my KK trip. TIME REALLY FLIES WAHAHHA!.

MY MOST EXPENSIVE SEAFOOD EXPERIENCE, K.K.

Missing in Action for a very LOOOONNNGGG TIME. sorry. was bz. found little time to update.

continuation of KK post. it never ends huh ahhah!.

here, at TWINSKY SEAFOOD, dunno located where. Crystal brought us here to have some seafood. since the TUNG FUNG LUO is from Sabah. why not we try it IN SABAH.. kan best.

to my surprise, there were many fish tank filled with various kind of seafood.

many types of prawns. crabs, sea snails, lobster, etc etc…

this is wad i came here for. we ordered the smaller ones. slightly cheaper.

they will ask wad kinda seafood u like. wad kinda cooking style.. they will tell u like how the indian mamak at the mamak stall introduce their canai. seriously im confused. i really dunno wad else to order.

over budget. kenot afford ahahha. so pics only.

Priscilla came to join us for dinner, after our trip from the islands.

there are many other stalls selling different cuisines. and they walk around asking and giving out menus. and HEY! theres SUSHI!. SALMON SHASHIMI PLS. this is RM20.

Oyster Omellette, erm kch one is better lo. as for my liking lah. should try other places next time.

DAY 2 Part 2, Manukan Island, Sabah.

im back in continuing my post for my trip to Kota Kinabalu September 09 yea many months back. well. i need to finish this post. since i have little time. i will try post some pics for u, readers. enjoy.

After the rain has stop at Sapi Island. our next stop is Manukan Island. no sun after then rain. so pics result might vary.

at the entrance. camwhore shot.. CYnthia and Crystal was already inside.

we were hungry. so we searched for foods. either u eat simple fast food. or dine at the cafe or restaurant. u go ahead and pick. NOTHING IS CHEAP THERE.

and this is the RM8 coconut pudding. NAH!

we wanted to dine at the cafe. but no one hiu us so we left. maybe we look darn poor. its ok lah 3 person share fast food. save money little bit hahah.

and this cost RM14, about the same wad divided by 3. cheaper ler.

after lunch. snorkeling time again. and Tim again will be Tim.

yea.. ppl around tot i was crazy.. they kept looking.

left my camera there and we continue snorkeling. LARGER FISH. more fishes. scary weh ahhaha.. fish so big. bite ppl kok.

after a tiring snorkel we have some rest. The boat boy asked us wanna go back early or not. if theres enuf ppl then we can go back to Jesselton earlier. yes no yes no.. NAH its ok lah.. we wait till 4. it was 2 something..

still wanna enjoy the scenery of the beach tho there wasn’t any sun..

i was tired. but i had fun of course. yea i was having a great time!

luckily no more bumpy ride. kinda phobia tho…

well after the 2 island. we head back. Seafood time.

Day 2, KOTA KINABALU, SABAH

KOTA KINABALU SECOND DAY, DAY 2, HARI KE DUA, TEH JEE JIT

woke up quite early, getting ready for breakfast. those kuai lou at the LODGE dun go out one. they said save money waiting for flight in the next few days to INDONESIA. was having a small conversation with them, kepo haha. just curious.

Crystal came, and we had breakfast together. wanted to try the Beuford noodle but they havent star business yet.

so we walked opposite. to

KENG WAN HING.

Simple Ngau Chap, soup base.

Crystal ordered.

i ordered Kan lao noodle with Pork Chap,

nothing special lah ahha.

and Cynthia had their Yu Chap, preffered the one at Damai, still the best.

without any time wasted, we walk our way to Jesselton Point, where we pay for our boat trip to Sapi and Manukan Island. yea while waiting i took some photos.

on the wall are the History of the Jesselton Point.

the Brits forgotten to bring back the public phone..

wonder which one we are using. cos they are still arranging and waiting for more customer or more ppl in to ride with us to the same location.

and with a HELLO BOSS, BOAT SUDAH READY! PERGI JETTY SEKARANG.

EXPERIENCE 3. KK SPEED BOAT RIDE.

UNTIL I SAW THE WAVE INFRONT, we went up and THUUUUDDD! down. i terus transformed into a wuuuzz, kuai kuai sit down. ass hurts wei…

no more shooting till we saw SAPI ISLAND! CANTIK LAH!.

the Long Jetty. no lah not tat long lah ahah. excited weh!.

no fish but yes feeding. Crystal and Cynthia both also very excited.

and it was Cynthia’s first snorkeling TIME!. she was so nervous.

yeah! with my Puma INJEX 100 i no worry about stepping on sharp objects or sea creatures.

taking a deep breathe before heading in the water. and yes in i went. no shots taken for our session kekek. why? dunno why! hahaha. excited ma. Cynthia was so scared she terlantak the huge corals and scarred her legs bleeding. i kept on forcing her to lift her legs up kept repeating every time i get up. pity ba see her walking.

DUN WORRY U WILL AUTO FLOAT ONE LAH!. using LIFE JACKET WAD!

after some time she tried and yeah! feels good seeing her have fun!.

after snorkeling. i went walking around with my camera.

and saw the KOMODO DRAGONS. this one was feasting on LAMB CHOP BONES. the whole piece of tulang just swallow like tat. wahrao. how to digest oh.

look at the size… delicious weh. why no bbq komodo?!

and left my foot prints there.

and it rained. Praise the LORD for Cooling the weather for us, for some good 15 minutes.

dunno why they dun wanna come in. scared the boat left them ah. bo ko leng ma.

and waited.

FIRST,KOTA KINABALU, SABAH TRIP

Hello there readers, young and old, im back to blogging. its been awhile since you last saw me writing a post. has been busy. and I’m really sorry.

Here, our first time to KOTA KINABALU, SABAH BAH!

Me together with Cynthia, our Purpose to KK was initially to attend the Youth Rally Passing on the Faith with Father Stan Fortuna CFR, invited by the LJCC from the United States.

Since it’s our first time stepping foot in KK. we went there 2 days earlier and a day later, to visit KK of course. Also Flights are cheaper. hehe.

Anxiously waiting for the Gate to open, wanna board and fly to KK BAH!

Online Check in Boarding Pass. its always too long.

oh i left my camera at the overhead baggage area. so i did not take any photos on our way there ahah. but Cynthia did. and she took some amazing shots with her Lumix compact.

we reached KK International Airport around 1030am, but we only left the airport around 1145am due to

EXPERIENCE NO1 in kk : Car battery Problem, car couldn’t start

under the hot sun we waited for Crystal’s brother to come and help us out with the Jumper.

Finally the Car Started, and we are on our way to KK. Crystal said if ur using a taxi dun say go pasak. say go KK. if u say go pasak the taxi driver will bring u to nearest pasar, we must say KK, so tat the driver will bring u to the city.

the Lord sent the loving and caring Crystal to save us, by bring us around KK for the 5 days we were there. thank you very much and we miss you a lot here.

so Crystal brought us to town to meet her parents up for lunch.

On the way to Damai.

and we are at Damai, yes, Damai in KK is a place packed with ppl, working or business ppl, and FOOD. YES FOOD. GOOD FOOD. searching for parking is hard. we need to turn few rounds to get one. and thank god we finally found one.

and coffee shops in KK DUN SERVE GREEN TEA! WHY WHY WHY? I DUN UNDERSTAND!

so Coke i ordered.

the Shop we had , Yu Chap / Fish Chap.

Fish Chap contains: Fish Ball, Fresh Fish, Fish Egg, Fish Cake, tofu and yes its very fresh and delicious. serves with beehoon or noodle or kueh tiaw at ur own choice.

YES, i now craving for it. sorry i dunno how much it cost cos Uncle Voo paid for it , Crystal told me its RM5 pper bowl of this yummilicous

after lunch, we head to the place we are gonna stay for the next 5 days.

MRS VOO drove in to show us the compound of UM, yes its very big and nice.

after tat we went to 1Borneo, heard its the biggest shopping mall in east malaysia, hmm how true. my friends told me about it and say i have to drop by. and thanks to Aunty we did.

thank you. and erm when we wanted to exit this slidding door when we left, someone tore this whole glass door apart. how i dunno. shattered into pieces.

at first glance, ITS SO MIDVALLEY ahahah! or i just miss KL.

one thing tat caught my attention, NO ASS PUT FAKE ASS LO. hahaha.. wonder how comfortable will it be sitting down. and got cup size wan ka?

also got Big Apple Donuts, no i did not try ahah.

the escalator if u fall its gonna be a long way down.

not i want to say wan, kan very midvalley kan?

FREEDOM IS DIRTY? IS IT? very cool vector graphics.

went to Mickey, so cute this photo.

also they had an event for B BOYS, it was for later that night but we left around 4. here are some very skilled Bboy freestyling. Malaysia VS KOREA.

siku tak sakit mer? i very geli the cit cit cut cut sound they made when dancing.

A Must Try, bought some 4 pcs to try first. and i regretted not getting more. ahaah it was so YUMMY SO JUICY. thanks to those who asked me to try.

RM1.10 each. small but worth it. as in VERY WORTH IT. ONE IS NEVER ENOUGH.

and we left. honestly i was melting already, KK is indeed a very HOT CITY.

back to the Lodge, we had some rest and i took some shots of the DOTT’s Egg tart.

look at the filling. THICK RITE?! SEEING IS BELIEVING.

Michael Lo the owner of Stay In Lodge told me that this Clock tower still standing since WW II, Chris, good idea for making craft man.

this clock tower is right behind the Lodging place we stayed. so i can zoom in a little. yea we stayed at the 3rd floor.

3 X 5days is 15 storey

15 X 4times a day = 60 storeys, THATS EXERCISE FOR 5 DAYS MAN!

so im not worry about food consumed cos i burn calories going up and coming back down.

Before Dinner, we head to MENARA PEMERHATI BUKIT BENDERA, for a sun set view, and also the view of the whole KK CITY.

we left as soon as we finish cos Crystal has practice for the Youth Rally and also RADIO FROM HONG KONG TOO LOUD NEXT TABLE. scared ppl dunno they are from HONG KONG. Ptui.

she dropped us off at one of the shopping complex and we walked around that area till…

Experience 2 in KK: WE GOT LOST ahahah! walk till kenot find our way back. never quit walking, tot of knowing the way back by recognizing the building, me and cynthia kept walking, for about an hour, taxi passed also dun wanna sit. ppl around also dun wanna ask. actually we were quite near our place jsut tat we were are the wrong lorong or junction, up and down the whole stretch, till fatigue and called Crystal, called her and she told us that we are very near our place. and yes indeed thank God, its Just 100m away from where we stood. PHEW!we were praying this ” Lord, Please guide us to the Lodge we were staying, and yes our prayer answered, tho we gave up walking and called.

and so tats the end of our First day!

KL TRIP DAY 2

hey hey hey!. Rose, u got new toy. i got also got neh ahahha. mine is a Digital Photo Album. so all my portfolio no need to print nor using Laptop to view aahhaah.. look at ur laokong engtao face there ahahah. all i need is a SDCard tats all to put my pictures in it eheheh…

not only tat. can watch movie and play music. sui ho.. china ppl so pandai also hor ahahha. wad they cant do? they can do anything.

Alrite, back to KL TRIP YO!! DAY 2.

MEETING MEI WAH AND WEI HWA!

to save 1 buck. we walk our way to Times Square from Sg Wang. so while at Times Square waiting for them, they still stuck at the jam.

The typical TIM went to be YELLOW MAN! ahah !

I WIW FORROH YUH! cute isn’t it hhehe.

Digi is doing some road show there. racing. the thing on my mind was. OMG are they here yet. are they waiting outside. my mind was off the game, like TOTALLY ! ahahh! and so. i kalah itu race and so i totalled the car.

safe driver kenot play racing game one. sure kalah.

ya ya ya excuses i know. ya ya ya. i dunno how to play ahhaha! no need tell me k ahahahh!. i know. then i got meiwah’s sms. says they are reaching.

me super excited rushed out and saw her MAIBEE KAR. still i abit shy ahahah… so i havent take pic of them yet ahahah.

we went down cheras. Maluri area there la ahahah. somewhere behind those old shops. parked the car. and walked along the shops till i saw this machine.

i know some of u smart ppl knows this machine. offset machine rite.

but i saw this machine when i watched 7 Pounds starring Will Smith. and now i saw it infront of me. mesti lah i take pic rite. ahahah!

they Premium Mei Wah and Wei Hwa bawa us to this place.

she made this CUPCAKES for us. hmmm… no cute decorations one. ehheh. no time cos too rush and excited wanna meet us wor she said ahhaah.

i asked wads nice. they pointed the wall.

I DUNNO HOW TO READ LA!. then when the guy read it.

TOO FAST LA! ahahah!

luckily they are Cantonese, if not i will have a pretty bad time ordering. or gonna use hakka.

i tell u, this location, of 10 lots of shops 11 of them are PRINTERS COMPANY! SO MANY! wonder how they PIA THE PRICES OF THEIR PRINTS! like Wangsa Maju, whole row sell cars ahhaah.

and we head to 1 UTAMA! DAMANSARA! WOOTZ!!! window shopping la. hehehe… browsing like Mei Wah said ahahah!.

Centre Court. On Saturdays, every saturday, surely theres evernt at those shopping malls. thats why so packed lo ahah.. but we were there early. so got parking lo. cos ORANG KL. THEY SLEEP LATE SO WAKE UP VERY LATE LO. why said so. cos U GO MAMAK AT 4AM THEY STILL YAMCHA THERE HOR. NO NEED SLEEP MER!. oh tat was when i was working in KL back then. same shit la. cos at the place i was staying also the same.

oh sorry to potong ur stim haahh! next post coming up soon. events and

after timsum, Angie is off to work. so she needs to drop us at Taman Bahagia LRT station, no more putra line. its RAPID KL already.

LDP still need GPS mer. ahahha! IM THE LDP GPS OK! yer *perasan* ahah!

every car i see is using this GPS thing already. u can rely on it. but when u dun use it. I BET U DUNNO THE WAY!

Itu dia Taman Bahagia. dun see many bahagia faces around ler.

Train from Kelana Jaya is here. and we are heading down to KL Central. about 10 minutes or so.

then we changed to Monorail and head down to Bukit Bintang. ngaiti. last time from KL central we go straight thru the pasar infront takes less than 2 minutes walk to reach the monorail. NOW WE NEED TO WALK ONE BIG ROUND JUST TO GET THERE! tired ler.

Monorail Bukit Bintang station. we walk our way to Jalan Alor. then from there we walk straight to jalan Berangan. pa nama BERANGAN! hahah!

about 3 to 5 minutes walk down the stretch. at the right corner infront of Radius International Hotel. is the

ATTAPSANA HomeStay. but inside they said Guest House. erm which one is it actually? cos its different.

IM HERE. so easy to find.

Dreaming all the way. saya berangan mau tinggal kat Attapsana.

LOL.

oh yea…. nah here put guest house. *garu palak*

the interior.

the information shelfs tat i dont need. the next time i go must go tour the Elephant place. looks so good. and fun.

i made my payment online so its few bucks cheaper. RM37 pernight per person. so 4 days 3 nights is Rm220. where can u find. hotel is about 200 pernight. same also ma. with air con. and best still 3 beds.

but the lights too dim kenot read book or anything. with a table a sofa and a cupboard. the thing u need to tahan is. the noises outside. cos around the area are pubs. and many drunkards around. but luckily every night i came back. im so tired i KO-ed and hear nothing.

unpacked and rest and went out for lunch with Tings cousin.

SUPER GOOD. NO NEED TO WAIT EVEN 1 MINUTE!

their team work. their attitude. and their respect for hungry customer. paying customers.

my all time favourite DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER.

then we head down back to KL Central waiting for Gladys. cos she dunno how to use the KTM. but i rather take LRT to Bangsar then take a bus down. cos waiting for the KTM TAKES AGES MAN! ITS JUST ONE FREAKING STOP FROM CENTRAL!

the good thing is they stop right in front of Mid Valley.

Launching of the New Peugeot 206 is there.

the Center Court. man i miss this place.

Fitness Equipments tat we never seen in the East Side. or can we afford one. or would u willing to get a treadmill for 15k. u make a choice..

here is the thing tat impresses me.

then we head back to KL Central. Aaron and Nadia picked us up from there.

my trip to KL, took the flight on 26th Marh 905pm Flight. guess wad. as always delayed. and a freaking long queue, not panjang type of long is the LAMA TYPE OF LONG! Flight canceled and brought forward to 1030pm flight. SO LATE! REACH KL MIDNIGHT LO!.

taking the flight with Ting and Gladys, met Roy ah Roy there in the plane. he sat in front of me. sorry man. i annoyed u whole flight ahah! 1 hour 45 minutes. wad do u wanna do than sleeping.

TALK! of course.

he’s not tat annoyed. the lady sitting beside who doesn’t understand our dialects or what ever we are talking about ahha…

and Roy said her face like HUM AHAHHA!. ROFLMAO!

not only that. i farted the whole take off to landing.

apologize to Ting and Gladys.

i wanted to shit while flying. but i was afraid of turbulence. shit splatter how ler rite ahahah.

reached KL CENTRAL at 1am and waiting for Angie to come pick us up. and reached her home at 230am slept at 3am after a good shit. woke up at 715am to prepare to go out in the morning. cos she has to go work.

Breakfast we had Hong Kee Tim Sum at Atria. around 830am. so early and not enuf sleep. engine havent start.
